Ollywood: Famous Odia Film Actor "Minaketan Das" Passes Away @54

July 01, 2017: One of black day for entire Odisha and Odia Film Industry - Famous Odia Film Actor "Minaketan Das" Passed Away at the age 54 following Pancreatic Cancer at his residence situated in Bhubaneswar.

He was one of well known Negative character artist in both Ollywood and Jollywood (jatra) industry.

Odisha CM, Shri Naveen Pattnaik Tweeted following the tragic news about Minaketan Das:

Saddened to learn of the demise of actor Minaketan Das. It is a great loss for Odia film industry. My thoughts & prayers with his family.

Family sources said Minaketan’s body will be cremated at Swargadwar in Puri at around 3 pm.
