Sarathi Baba UPDATE: Crime Branch Reached Ashram, Section 144 Continues & More

The History Of Sarathi Baba: Real name of Sarathi Baba is Santosh Kumar Roul, son of Krushna Chandra Roul, whose native place is Ganjam district. The family later shifted to -- Kendrapara district after Krushna Chandra was appointed as a meter reader in the Electrical Sub Division office at Mahipala.

The current & Breaking News reads that, Sarathi Baba, has been caught with a 21-year-old girl in a hotel room in Hyderabad. But still his devotees don’t want to accept these facts though every prove is going against Baba Sarathi.

Several organizations in the Odisha capital today demanded stern action against -- Sarathi Baba after his stay with a woman was telecast by a local TV channel yesterday.

The Students’ Congress also took out a protest rally from the Master Canteen Square demanding arrest of the Baba.

“We demand a -- CBI probe into the whole incident and bring the fake Baba to book. It could be that the girl, with whom the Baba has illicit relationship, is afraid of giving the details fearing threat to her life. The fake God man may have relationship with other girls”, said vice president of Students’ Congress, Mitali Puspalak.

Activists of Sriram Sena burnt the effigy of the Sarathi Baba and demanded his immediate arrest during a demonstration in the Forest Park area.

According to latest reports, Section 144 has been imposed in --  Barimul and parts of Kendrapara. The police selectively searching for people involved in yesterday’s violence and beating them up. According to visuals, the cops have -- damaged the private properties such as bikes, cars and houses too.

Some photojournalists were reportedly assaulted by the cops during the pitched battle when they were trying to cover the incident. The police beat up -- journalists as well as -- BJP cadres who were protesting against yesterday’s police action. Meanwhile, the Crime Branch has reached Barimula Ashram to probe into the -- Sarathi Baba controversy.
