MARCH 12, 2018:
- CM Naveen Patnaik dedicated to the people of the state Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Sambalpur Biju Expressway.
MARCH 13, 2018:
- As per the Global Smart City Performance Index-2017 by Juniper Research, Bhubaneswar has been placed at the 13th spot in terms of safety as measured by crime levels, mortality and law enforcement services.
- Amit Rohidas of Odisha has been included in the 18-member Indian Men’s Hockey Team which will represent the country at Gold Coast 2018 XXI Commonwealth Games to begin on April 4.
- Odia CRPF jawan namely Manoranjan Lenka killed when Maoists blew up an anti-landmine vehicle of the 212 CRPF Battalion in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
- The State government announced that it has abolished the Sikshya Sahayak post and rechristened it as Junior Teacher (contractual).
MARCH 14, 2018:
- Odisha Cabinet approved a proposal making it mandatory for shops and commercial establishments in the State to display signboards in Odia.
- Nearly 50 students fall ill after consuming MDM in Odisha's Bhadrak.
- Four players from Odisha - Deep Grace Ekka, Namita Toppo, Sunita Lakra and Lilima Minz have been included in the 18 member national women’s squad for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games to be held in Gold Coast, Australia from April 4.
MARCH 15, 2018:
- Three BJD candidates Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Prashanta Nanda and Achyuta Samanta were elected to Rajya Sabha uncontested from Odisha
MARCH 16, 2018:
- Former Odisha Minister Raghu Mohanty back as BJD vice president.
MARCH 17, 2018:
- Odisha girl Simran Mishra has been elected as the president of Minnesota Student Association in University of Minnesota.
- President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated Anand Bhawan Museum and Learning Centre, the ancestral house of late former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik.
- Odisha girl Arpita Behera from Sambalpur wins Little Miss Galaxy World 2018 in Bulgaria.
