To provide subsistence and support to the aged artists who despite their poverty have persistently dedicated themselves in enriching, the Odisha Government has started a new scheme called “Mukhyamantri Kalakar Sahayata Yojana (MKSY)”.
As per MKSY Rule No. 10, "Each year in the month of April, the beneficiary shall furnish his / her Life Certificate in the prescribed Form signed by any Member of Parliament / Member of Legislative Assembly / any Gazetted Government Officer / Chairman of ULBs / Chairman of any Panchayat Samiti."
