MARCH 18, 2018:
- President Ram Nath Kovind released Rs 10 and Rs 1000 commemorative coins on Lord Jagannath’s Nabakalebara festival during an event at Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Shree Sadashiva Campus, Puri.

- Odisha boy Jyotiranjan Barik tops all India Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination 2018 in the Agricultural Engineering subject with overall score of 959.

MARCH 19, 2018:
- Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announces Rs 100 crore for Odisha Millets Mission.

MARCH 20, 2018:
- Pravakar Maharana and Gobaradhan Panika from Odisha received the Padma Shri Award from the President Ram Nath Kovind.

MARCH 21, 2018:
- Satya Pal Malik took oath as the new and 45th Governor of Odisha (Additional Charge). 

- Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik sanctioned 22 projects of Rs. 1.16Cr under "Ama Gaon Ama Bikash" program to 4 districts.

- The Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) installed the Adaptive Traffic Signal Control (ATSC) solution at various traffic squares across the city. The system uses the latest technology in traffic engineering, Composite Signal Control Strategy (CoSiCoSt), developed by C-DAC, Pune.

- The University Grants Commission (UGC) has granted autonomy to four Higher Educational Institutions of Odisha. 
They are: 
Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, 
National Law University, Cuttack, 
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar and 
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar.

MARCH 22, 2018:

- Odisha government approves Rs 2000 monthly fixed allowance for ASHA workers.

MARCH 23, 2018:
- The British Council today signed an MoU with the Government of Odisha to strengthen educational and cultural cooperation.

- Odisha Finance Minister tables Rs 1,20,028 cr Budget for session 2018-19.

MARCH 24, 2018:
- Bhubaneswar girl Shrutiksha Nayak crowned Femina Miss India Odisha 2018.
